Employment Law and Litigation
The firm represents employers and employees in all aspects of litigation in state and federal court and agencies, including discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims under Title VII, California Fair Employment & Housing Act ("FEHA"), California Family Rights Act ("CFRA"), and Family Medical Leave Act ("FMLA"). The firm also defends Labor Code section 132 claims as well as Serious and Willful Actions alleged in workers compensation cases. Additionally, the firm provides litigation services in cases alleging wrongful termination in violation of public policy and breach of employment agreements. Moreover, the firm has significant experience in trade secret litigation and class action cases.
The firm also represents employers and employees before the Department
of Fair Employment & Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Cal-OSHA, and with wage claims before the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement. The firm is experienced in achieving temporary and permanent restraining orders against competitors in trade secret litigation, and against potentially violent current or former employees arising from work place violence concerns.
