Jonathan W. Buxton
Associate
Jonathan W. Buxton is an associate with Ruben & Sjolander’s Los Angeles office and is a member of firm’s Consumer, Construction Defect and Business Litigation groups. His primary focus is the firm’s representation of corporate clients in alleged violations of state and federal consumer protection statutes, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Mr. Buxton also provides assistance to the Business Litigation group and has assisted in matters involving breach of contract and workers’ compensation issues. Representative clients include General Motors Company, Hyundai Motor America, Workhorse Custom Chassis, LLC and Spartan Chassis, Inc.
Prior to joining Ruben & Sjolander, Mr. Buxton was an associate with a leading national litigation firm, where he practiced in the firm’s Consumer Litigation group. He has also practiced with a firm specializing in construction defect litigation.
In addition to his practice of law, Mr. Buxton has spent a considerable amount of time volunteering with charitable organizations in Costa Rica, including Habitat for Humanity and Christian Surfers International.
