Ron Akasaka, a partner with Ruben & Sjolander’s Los Angeles office, concentrates his work in the firm’s civil litigation practice areas. Mr. Akasaka focuses primarily on the Products Liability, Consumer Litigation, Motor Vehicle Franchise Litigation, Business Litigation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution practice groups in both state and federal courts.

After graduating Pepperdine University School of Law, Mr. Akasaka entered the litigation field as an associate with a leading national litigation and trial law firm, devoting his practice to the representation of various national and international clients.

Representative clients include General Motors, LLC, Navistar, Inc., Workhorse Custom Chassis, LLC, Spartan Motor Chassis, Inc., Autocar, LLC, and Allison Transmission, Inc.

Mr. Akasaka serves as a mediator and settlement officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court, and has lectured at various products liability and warranty litigation conferences including the 2009 Warranty Chain Management Conference.
